EARTHQUEST cannot be held responsible, liable or acussed of anything resulting in your disatisfaction with the Program, courses, our staff, affiliates, agents, partners or representatives. You acknowledge that you agree to waive and release all claims, demands or causes of action against EARTHQUEST and it's agents and agree to indemify them with regard to any financial obligations or liabilities that you may incur personally or any damage resulting from participation in the Program. This course is 100% non-refundable. There is a 15% cancellation fee (33% interest rate) should you choose to cancel, drop out, forfeit, delay, quit or be dismissed from the course. If you delay your course you may take it at a later date and you will have 1 year from the time you are accepted to complete it.

Cost: $1500.00 CAD +HST (non-students and organizations); $1300.00 CAD + HST (students and non-profits)

Deadline to register: July 1, 2019

Registration: EARTHQUEST is pleased to announce that we are continuing to offer our popular 3 day EA certification course for the Biologist/Ecologist with an interest in learning about the integration of the recently amended Provincial Policy Statement into Official Plans and the planning process, which is available through our Biological Field School. The course is taught by Mr. Leigh Whyte and Dave Jolly. Mr. Whyte is credited in assisting with the bringing the voice of First Nation and Métis to the newly amended Provincial Policy Statment. To read an article about his contributions please refer to; Featured article. There no other 3 day EA certificaton courses in Ontario or Canada! This EA course will focus on the updated and amended Provincial Policy Statement as it relates to Natural Heritage Assessments, consulting process and help prepare practioners for the recent changes in the environmental industry as it relates to the planning and consulting process from the Green Energy Approval process. Additionally, there is 2 - 3 hours devoted to a field practicum learning how to directly apply your in-class knowledge to a case study and field situation. We can also come to you to run this course! Day 2 Recent Developments in Environmental Assessment; the Provincial Policy Statment and Environmental Impact Studies Finalize individual assignment: field visit and cost analysis based on budget, timelines and staff resources
Day 2 Independent studies Present summarized findings in the format of an oral presentation, synthesis of solutions to environmental problems encountered in the field

Cancellations: EARTHQUEST incurs a considerable expense to run these special courses and may use your registration fee as a deposit to secure placement in the course.
